Privacy Policy

SAFEATLA ("SAFEATLA", "we"), with address at Rua Amadeu Sousa Cardoso 5A 3D, Abrantes, Santarém, Portugal, is the controller of your personal data. This policy explains which personal data we collect, what we use it for and what your rights are when you use our website and platform.

We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR) and Law no. 58/2019 of 8 August, which implements it in the Portuguese legal system.

1. Data we collect

• Contact data you provide in forms, quote requests or the virtual assistant: name, email, phone, company and your message/request.
• Client data, when you access the portal: information about your installations, proposals, invoices, work orders and visits.
• Browsing data: technical information collected by cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use the data

• Responding to contact requests, quotes and technical visits.
• Providing and managing our services and the client portal.
• Sending service-related communications (e.g. invoice or visit reminders).
• Improving the website, the services and security.
• Complying with legal and contractual obligations.

Under Article 6 of the GDPR, processing is based on your consent (freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous), on the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request, on compliance with legal obligations to which SAFEATLA is subject, or on legitimate interests compatible with your rights and freedoms. Where processing relies solely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.

3. Virtual assistant

Our virtual assistant processes the messages you send it to generate replies. To do so, the content of the conversation may be processed by artificial-intelligence technology providers on our behalf, acting as processors, subject to contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Do not share sensitive data (passwords, full banking details, identity documents) through the chat. Contact requests made through the assistant are recorded so that our team can reply to you.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We may share it only with processors that help us operate (for example, email, messaging, hosting and artificial-intelligence services), to the extent necessary and with contractual confidentiality safeguards, or where required by law. If any of these providers is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is carried out with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

5. Retention

We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or to comply with legal obligations (for example, tax and accounting periods). When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive credentials, access control and secure connection (HTTPS). No system is 100% infallible, but we work continuously to reduce risks.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw consent previously given and not to be subject to solely automated decisions.
